7 WAYS TO EXAMINE YOURSELF!
2 CORINTHIANS 13:5- EXAMINE YOURSELVES TO SEE WHETHER YOU ARE IN THE FAITH; TEST YOURSELVES. DO YOU NOT REALIZE THAT CHRIST JESUS IS IN YOU—UNLESS, OF COURSE, YOU FAIL THE TEST?; IS A REMINDER OF THE IMPORTANCE OF EXAMINING OURSELVES THROUGH FAITH.
Here are 7 ways to examine yourself through the lens of faith:
1. Mindset and Attitude: Reflect on whether your thoughts and beliefs gravitate towards trusting God's plans and provision or leaning more toward dwelling on worries and doubts.
2. Decision-Making: Consider whether your choices are driven by a firm faith in God's guidance and promises or if they tend to be swayed by fears of failure or uncertainty.
3. Emotional Responses: Observe how you respond to challenges and uncertainties. Are your reactions characterized by a resilient faith and hopeful outlook, or do you find yourself succumbing to stress and anxiety driven by fear?
4. Prayer Life: Take a moment to examine the content and frequency of your prayers. Do you approach God with confidence and trust, or do you often find yourself praying out of desperation or fear?
5. Actions and Behavior: Evaluate how your faith manifests in your daily actions and interactions with others. Are you actively living out your beliefs with courage and conviction, or do you notice instances where fear holds you back?
6. Relationships: Reflect on the influence of your relationships on your faith journey. Are you surrounded by individuals who uplift and strengthen your faith, or are you surrounded by those who instill doubt and fear?
7. Trust in God's Promises: Consider your confidence level in God's promises and faithfulness. Do you find yourself relying on His Word with unwavering trust, or do you sometimes struggle to maintain belief amidst moments of fear and uncertainty?
